2. Description of Service
SnapMyGarage is an inventory management and item identification tool that helps users catalog, organize, and estimate the value of their belongings. While the Service may include marketplace features to help connect buyers and sellers, SnapMyGarage is primarily designed to assist with item management and valuation.
The Service includes web and mobile applications that allow users to photograph items, receive AI-powered identification and pricing suggestions, manage their inventory, and optionally list items for sale.
3. AI Disclaimer
SnapMyGarage uses artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze images and estimate item values. These results are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated results. Users are solely responsible for verifying item details and making their own decisions.
4. User Accounts and Responsibilities
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Ensuring you have the right to upload and use any images you submit
- Verifying all item information, including AI-generated valuations, before relying on it
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our Service.
5. Listing and Selling
When listing items for sale, you agree to:
- Provide accurate descriptions and photos of items
- Only list items you have the legal right to sell
- Not list prohibited items (illegal goods, weapons, drugs, stolen property, etc.)
- Honor the prices and terms in your listings
- Complete transactions in good faith
6. Buying
When purchasing items, you agree to:
- Pay for items you commit to purchasing
- Communicate respectfully with sellers
- Complete transactions as agreed
- Report any issues or discrepancies promptly
7. Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Harass, threaten, or defraud other users
- Post false, misleading, or deceptive content
- Manipulate prices or interfere with other users' listings
- Collect user data without consent
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
8. Fees and Payments
SnapMyGarage offers both free and premium tiers. Free accounts can use basic features including guest inventory management and up to 3 listings per month via our mobile app. Premium subscriptions provide unlimited listings, AI-powered features, and additional benefits.
Premium subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date. You can manage your subscription through your account settings or your app store account.
All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change our fee structure with notice to users.
9. Limitation of Liability
SnapMyGarage provides tools for inventory management and item identification. We are not responsible for:
- The accuracy of AI-generated item identifications or valuations
- Buying or selling decisions you make based on app data
- Financial losses resulting from reliance on item valuations
- The quality, safety, or legality of items listed on the marketplace
- The accuracy of user-generated listings or content
- User conduct on or off the platform
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapMyGarage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.
